There is a discussion in China between what’s Contemporary art. It’s just a matter of time, or is a question of technique? In this case, It is contemporary only oil, acrylic and new media or also INK?

China is the only country on the world where such a debate can take place. In western countries there is only one technique: oil and derivates. But in China was before the Ink than the oil.

For me, contemporary is the work made by a contemporary artist using any kind of technique talking about contemporary subjects. That’s why I bought The Sanya Collection, and why I appreciate so much this gift from a friend.
